PAR is currently in support of House Bill No. 1978 which restores an adopted person's equal protection and access under the law to their Original Birth Certificate as any other non-adopted citizen enjoys.
PAR Advocates is an independent group of concerned citizens who have been impacted by adoption and strongly desire to improve the rights of Adult Adoptees. Pennsylvania Adoptee Rights wholeheartedly thanks the Adoptee Rights Coalition for allowing us to pass out information about Adoptee Rights in PA as well as information on HB 1978 at their booth at the National Convention of State Legislators. Two of our Legislative Board members, Amanda and Theresa, were present in the convention center with amazing individuals from other groups.
